ELCA Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton has released a pastoral message addressing the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting that occurred Saturday. “As Christians, and particularly as Lutherans, we deplore and reject this bigotry,” Eaton said, citing the 1994 Declaration of the ELCA to the Jewish Community.
