The ELCA has arranged preferred-vendor agreements with a few select companies that can enhance operating efficiency, leadership effectiveness, congregational vitality and financial sustainability. Special pricing accompanies each agreement.
Through the ELCA’s electronic-giving vendor partnerships, members can donate with one tap. Users can designate a gift to one or more funds in a single transaction or schedule regular automated giving—weekly, biweekly or monthly. With text giving, users can give directly to their congregations through a dedicated number.
Tithe.ly
In March 2018 the ELCA introduced Tithe.ly as a preferred vendor. Offering online, mobile and text giving options, Tithe.ly is now expanding its product line to provide website services and church management software to ELCA congregations at a discounted rate.
Using Tithe.ly’s suite of tools, congregations can enable members’ online giving, manage membership data and freshen up their websites.
Its church management software is a database solution for congregations that includes member and group management (e.g., church committees, small groups, child and volunteer check-in), attendance and authorization tracking, reporting and other insights.
Congregations using Tithe.ly can also choose from a suite of easy-to-use, attractive website templates. No coding or programming is required, as the templates were designed with church administrators in mind.
Tithe.ly web templates offer clean designs—customizable with congregations’ preferred colors, branding and images—that allow for easily providing essential information (e.g., service times, location, events) up front. Each template also includes ELCA branding so congregations can easily be identified as members of the ELCA.
Since not every congregation has access to high-resolution photography, Tithe.ly makes ELCA imagery available for congregations. Photographs representative of our tradition (e.g., for communion, baptism, education, service, worship, music) are offered, useful for many congregations and contexts.
Vanco
Through Vanco, ELCA congregations are able to give in a multitude of ways. The ELCA works with Vanco to provide congregations with discounted rates for an assortment of eGiving tools. With GivePlus, powered by Vanco, congregations can use donation technology that includes text and app giving, online giving and portable card readers.
Vanco offers a complete suite of electronic-giving solutions that permits members and guests to give when and how they want—including the GivePlus Kiosk, which allows for self-service giving from anywhere, and GivePlus Swipe, which generates quick and easy one-time payments or gifts.
