Every day, Living Lutheran offers a prayer from the ELCA resource Prayer ventures, which can be downloaded here. These daily petitions are offered as a guide for your own prayer life as together we pray for the needs of the world and give thanks for the ministries of our church.
Thursday, Nov. 16 “O God, to you I cry in pain when sickness makes me weak, when mind and body out of tune bring fears I cannot speak” (All Creation Sings, 1021). We are never alone in times of distress. We praise God for being attentive to us through caring neighbors and siblings in Christ, especially when we find it difficult to express our infirmities and suffering.
