Scripture
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid” (John 14:27).

Prayer
God of peace, be with us in times of stress and overwhelm. Gently remind us that, in all seasons of life, you are present. Amen.

Journal prompt
Definition: Peace (noun): freedom from disturbance; tranquility.
Write your own definition of peace and describe what or who in your life brings you a sense of peace.

Practicing peace
Short: Set a timer for five minutes and meditate.
Medium: Take a 15-minute, silent walk, allowing your brain to wander or settle, as it needs.
Long: Take a 20-minute nap, giving your body a chance to rest.

Affirmation
I carry peace with me everywhere I go.
