Today we are sharing a few prompts to encourage you during your personal spiritual time. We hope this collection will inspire you to be loving to yourself and others as you get ready for your weekend!

Scripture
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other” (Galatians 5:22-26).

Prayer
God, our Holy Parent, may we personify the fruits of your Spirit on a daily basis. Remind us in moments of stress that your love and peace dwell within us. Amen.

Journal prompt
As you settle into this new month, consider how you can bring the fruits of the Spirit into your relationships. What was one positive encounter you had in July? What is one goal or intention you can set for August?

Affirmation
I am loving, peace-filled, patient, kind, generous, faithful, gentle and disciplined.
