Pursuant to constitutional provision 12.31. and bylaw 12.31.02. in the “Constitution, Bylaws, and Continuing Resolutions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America,” the Churchwide Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will convene in Exhibit Hall D and E of the Phoenix Convention Center (100 N. Third St.), Phoenix, Ariz., on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. and will adjourn approximately at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025. All plenary sessions will be held in Exhibit Hall D and E.
The opening service of worship will be held in the West Ballroom of the Phoenix Convention Center on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 3 p.m.
The following college corporation also will meet during Plenary Session 2 on Tuesday, July 29, 2025: Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa.
