Colleen Bernu is an ELCA deacon who serves as director for evangelical mission with the Northeastern Minnesota Synod; as synod minister for diversity, equity and inclusion; and as synod staff liaison for Together Here Ministries. She is a part of the community of the Fond Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and lives on the Fond Du Lac Indian Reservation with her family.
