Thomas K. Johnson is a semi-retired ELCA pastor who was director of the Center for Lutheran Studies at Claremont School of Theology in Los Angeles. He has taught a class on Dietrich Bonhoeffer at Claremont for 14 years and has organized the center’s annual Bonhoeffer Festival for 13 years.
